Kevin Dedner, MPH has had a long and successful career in public health. Kevin began their career in 2003 as the Director of State Government Relations and Public Policy at the American Cancer Society Mid-South Division, Inc. In 2008, they moved to the Arkansas Department of Health, where they served as the Chief of the HIV/STD and Hepatitis C Section. In 2010, they became the Team Lead of State and Local Policy at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Center to Prevent Childhood Obesity. In 2011, they were the Senior Advisor to the President of Forward Solutions Total Contracting 8(a) Certified Firm. Most recently, in 2018, they founded and became the CEO of Hurdle, providing vision, leadership, strategy, and general management skills necessary to grow the company as a leader in self-care support and culturally intentional mental health services.
Kevin Dedner, MPH, attended the University of Arkansas from 1995 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Kevin then attended Benedictine University from 2006 to 2008, where they earned a Masters in Public Health.
