Jon Hopper is an experienced engineering and design professional currently serving as the Engineering Manager at Hunter Stoves Group since January 2024. As the Business Owner and Principal Designer at JonHopperMakes since July 2011, Jon specializes in contemporary lighting design, creating bespoke pieces for galleries and online sales. Previous roles include Design Engineer at ZOEFTIG-SIS LIMITED and FORME Partitions, as well as Production Manager and Production Engineer at Hunter Stoves Group, where responsibilities included CNC programming. Jon also has a solid foundation in sheet metal processes, having led a team at Greenfield Engineering and worked as a CAD Designer/CAM Programmer at Alco Engineering Co. Ltd. Educational background includes studies at Plymouth College of Art.
