Shelton McCullough currently serves as the Head of Origination at Hunter Point Capital LP since June 2023. Prior to this role, Shelton held multiple positions at Bank of America Merrill Lynch over an eight-year span, culminating as Director in the Financial Sponsors Group. Shelton's early experience includes roles as Investment Banking Vice President, Associate, and Summer Associate within the same group, as well as an Investment Banking Analyst position at Bentley Associates. Shelton began a professional career at Goldman Sachs as an Analyst in the Controllers division and gained initial industry experience through a Co-Op at Johnson & Johnson and an IT Financial Services internship at Penn State University. Shelton earned an MBA from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Penn State University.
