Nandini Makrandi Jestice serves as Chief Curator at the Hunter Museum of American Art since 2004, having previously held the position of Curator of Contemporary Art. Nandini also contributed to academia as a Clinical Associate Professor in Art History at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga from 2004 to 2013. Prior roles include Associate Curator of Collections and Exhibitions at the Knoxville Museum of Art from 1996 to 2004, Curatorial Assistant at the Louise Wells Cameron Art Museum, and Exhibitions Graduate Assistant at Texas Tech University Museum. Nandini's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Museology/Museum Studies and Art History from Texas Tech University and a Bachelor's degree in Art and Sociology from Mercer University.
