Tathagata Sarkar

Tathagata Sarkar has a diverse work experience in the hospitality industry. Tathagata started their career as an Operational Trainee at The Oberoi Group in 2003. Tathagata then worked as a Customer Service Agent at Jet Airways before joining The Park Hotels as an Assistant Restaurant Manager/Supervisor. Tathagata also served as an Assistant Restaurant Manager at Tragus Group and as a Restaurant General Manager at Yum! Brands. In 2014, they became a Restaurant Manager at Tidjoori Restaurant and later transitioned to the role of Operations Manager at Oak Tree Restaurant & Bar in 2016. Currently, Tathagata holds the position of Vice President Operations at HungerBox, where they also previously served as a Cityhead.

Tathagata Sarkar holds a Master's Degree in Hospitality Administration/Management from the University of Wales, earned from 2010 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Administration at the Institute of Hotel Management from 2000 to 2003. Additionally, they obtained an Associate's Degree in Craftsmanship Course in Food & Beverage Services from the same institution from 1999 to 2000. Tathagata also possesses several certifications, including scoring twice at 90% in the Mystery Diners Program from the Independent Restaurant Accreditation Authority, London in April 2011, ranking 8th in their second year at IHM nationwide, certified by the Government of India in July 2002, and being awarded the Person-in-Charge (PIC 3) Food Safety & Hygiene certification from the Dubai Municipality in October 2014.
