Van W. has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering. They started their career as a Technician at Divvy | Chicago bike share in 2013, followed by a Software Engineer Internship at ExactTarget in 2014. They then joined Purdue University as a Teaching Assistant, where they led C Programming labs and provided tutoring for undergrads from 2013 to 2015.

In 2015, Van W. became a Software Engineer at Epic, where they designed, developed, and tested software for hospitals, specifically the Patient Administration System. They also played a key role in migrating the PAS software from VB6 to .NET MVC.

Afterwards, Van W. worked as a Full Stack Engineer at Organized Living from 2017 to 2020. They were responsible for designing and developing websites and APIs, as well as converting server architecture from monolith to microservices. They also maintained and developed the codebase for both internal and external applications.

From 2020 to 2022, Van W. joined DocuSign as a Software Engineer. They contributed to the development of highly scalable solutions with the CLM team, focusing on creating telemetry and automated monitoring for live systems.

Currently, Van W. holds the position of Senior Software Engineer at Hummingbird, starting in 2022.

Van W. attended Purdue University from 2011 to 2015, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science.
