Wayne Galea is a highly experienced project manager and owner with a strong background in process consulting and engineering within the mining and metallurgy sectors. Since June 2016, Wayne has been serving as a Project Manager for Hummingbird Resources, after managing feasibility studies and process design as a Process Consultant at Amec Foster Wheeler from 2000 to April 2016. Wayne also held the position of Engineering Manager at KBK Gold, focusing on the construction and commissioning of cyanide recovery processes from June 2013 to May 2014. Earlier career achievements include roles as Senior Metallurgist at Bulong Nickel Operations and as Senior Process Engineer at Bateman Kinhill. Wayne's career began as a Process Engineer at SIGNET ENGINEERS from 1990 to 1996. Wayne has been the owner and general manager of Penny Lane Estate since 1999. Wayne holds a BSc in Chemistry and Extractive Metallurgy from Murdoch University, completed between 1981 and 1984.
