Tracey F. is a Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience in emergency care and mental health services. Currently at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre since February 2013, Tracey applies knowledge of health legislation to assess complex patient needs, conduct psycho-social assessments, provide crisis intervention, and develop discharge plans in the Emergency department. Additionally, at Humber River Regional Hospital since 2012, Tracey offers mental health assessments and crisis intervention in the Mental Health Urgent Care Clinic, utilizing an eclectic therapeutic approach with a focus on CBT techniques and trauma-informed care. Previously, Tracey worked as a Crisis Counsellor for the Victim Services Program of Toronto from April 2000 to August 2018, providing immediate psychosocial support to victims of crime and trauma. Tracey holds an MSW in Mental Health & Addictions, a BSW, and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in Sociology from York University, along with basic constable training from the Ontario Police College.
