Matthew Glew CMILT possesses extensive experience in the transport and logistics sector, holding multiple Transport Manager roles across various companies since 1991. Currently serving as Transport Manager at Humber Ports Logistics Ltd since June 2023, Matthew has also worked with The Green Group and A2B TRUCKING UK LTD earlier in 2023. Previous positions include Transport Manager at Gateway Chassis Solutions Ltd, BENTON BROS (TRANSPORT) LIMITED, and Global Shipping Services Ltd, where responsibilities included managing contracts, liaising with customers, and overseeing international freight operations. Matthew developed foundational skills at DFDS and HTL Transport, starting as a Freight Forwarder and Transport Planner, and ultimately gained expertise in logistics management and compliance as Company DGSA in several roles. Matthew's career commenced as a Trainee Traffic Clerk at COLIN BOOTH TRANSPORT LTD, following early development of leadership skills during service in the British Army.
