Kate Thompson has extensive experience in business development and charity work, currently serving as the Acting Senior Business Development Manager at Humankind Charity since June 2018, after progressing from the role of Senior Business Development Officer. Prior to this, Kate held a position as a Bid Writer at D.I.S.C. Registered Charity from July 2017 to May 2019 and worked as a Business Development Officer and Graduate Business Development Officer at Lifeline Project Ltd between October 2015 and April 2017. Earlier in the career, Kate was a Payroll Administrator at Nasa Consulting Ltd from September 2014 to September 2015 and completed a Communications Internship at Transform Drug Policy Foundation in early 2014. Academically, Kate earned a Bachelor of Science in Social Policy from the University of Bristol between 2011 and 2014, with A Levels in Government & Politics, Sociology, and Psychology from Worksop Post 16 Centre from 2009 to 2011.
