André-Philippe Paquet has extensive work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. André-Philippe is currently the VP of Engineering at HumanFirst.ai since July 2019. Prior to their current position, André-Philippe served as the CTO of AmpMe from May 2016 to April 2019. At AmpMe, they oversaw a team of 15 engineers, data scientists, and QA professionals. André-Philippe was actively involved in development efforts and was responsible for the audio sync technology. André-Philippe also worked as a Researcher at AmpMe from November 2015 to May 2016. Before joining AmpMe, they were the CTO of SPOTR from April 2014 to September 2015. At SPOTR, they oversaw engineering activities and participated in the development of a Photo Captioning App. Prior to their role at SPOTR, André-Philippe worked as the CTO of Wajam from June 2012 to April 2014. At Wajam, they led the engineering activities and played a crucial role in growing the team, infrastructure, and systems to handle the large amount of information processed and indexed by the social search engine. Before becoming the CTO, they were also a Lead Developer at Wajam from May 2010 to June 2012. André-Philippe started their career as a Laboratory Assistant at École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) from September 2010 to April 2011, where they assisted students with technical assignments for the Introduction to Parallel Processing course. André-Philippe also had internships and contractual roles as a Web Developer at Nstein Technologies in 2009, a .NET Developer at Publipage from January to December 2008, and a Mainframe Developer at Industrielle Alliance from May 2006 to August 2007.
André-Philippe Paquet completed their education with a DEC in Computer Science from Cégep François-Xavier-Garneau from 2003 to 2007. André-Philippe then pursued a B. Eng. in Software Engineering from École de technologie supérieure from 2007 to 2011.
