Deborah Dees has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Deborah started their career at Nations Bank in 1983 as a Retail Lockbox Manager, where they were responsible for processing incoming mail deposits and managing a staff of eight. After leaving Nations Bank in 1991, Deborah worked as an Office Manager at Baby Care Diaper Service for two years.
In 1999, Deborah joined the Saint Louis Science Center as a Development Services Manager, a position they held until 2008. During their time there, they were responsible for managing development services and supporting fundraising efforts.
Deborah then worked at Fontbonne University as an Advancement Services Manager from 2008 to 2012, where they were in charge of managing advancement services.
From 2012 to 2014, Deborah worked at Ronald McDonald House Charities of St. Louis as a Data and Grant Manager. In this role, they focused on comprehensive database management using Blackbaud's The Raiser's Edge (RE) and also managed the grant program.
In 2014, Deborah joined the Humane Society of Missouri as the Assistant Director of Development, Membership, and Database Management. In this role, they oversaw key revenue streams within the development department, implemented and managed the Raiser's Edge database, and facilitated the database conversion to Raiser's Edge NXT.
Deborah's most recent role at the Humane Society is the Director of Data Management and Analytics, which they started in December 2020.
Deborah Dees attended Cleveland High School from 1979 to 1983. During this period, no degree or field of study information was provided. In addition to their educational background, Deborah obtained a certification in Raiser's Edge Fundamentals from Blackbaud in April 2020.
