Leslie Dalzell has extensive work experience in financial and operational roles. In 2000, they started as a Senior Financial Analyst at Steelcase and worked there until 2009. From 2006 to 2009, they held the positions of Controller and Manager of Process Development at PolyVision. In 2009, they became the Budget Director at Chaminade University and the Financial Controller at Island Palm Communities. From 2016 to 2018, they served as the Director of Property Management at Hickam Community Housing LLC. Currently, they are working at The Humane Society for Tacoma & Pierce County, where they have held various roles including Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and is currently serving as the Interim Chief Executive Officer.

Leslie Dalzell completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting from Central Michigan University, between the years 1993 and 1995. Following that, Leslie pursued an MBA in Finance from Western Michigan University - Haworth College of Business from 2001 to 2006. Leslie then obtained a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the AICPA in March 2000.
