John Challice has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. John began their career at Pearson Prentice Hall in 1995 as a Senior/Executive Editor for Chemistry and Biochemistry, where they served until 2001. From 2001 to 2005, they held the role of Editor in Chief for Science at Pearson Prentice Hall. In 2005, they joined Oxford University Press as the VP of Higher Education and remained in that position until 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Vice President of Business Development at Hum, a company that specializes in providing Customer Data Platforms for content-rich organizations. John'stenure at Hum began in March 2021.
John Challice obtained their MBA degree from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Biochemistry at the University of Toronto from 1985 to 1988. Before their master's degree, John completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc Honors) degree in Biochemistry/Chemistry at the University of Calgary from 1981 to 1985. In 1980-1981, they studied at the United World College of SE Asia, although the degree obtained during this time is not provided.
