Simon Green currently serves as the Managing Director of Hull Culture and Leisure Ltd, a position held since December 2023, following a tenure as Director of Cultural Services at the same organization since April 2015. With a strong background in cultural and operational management, Simon has been responsible for strategic leadership within a not-for-profit council entity, overseeing a range of services including museums, galleries, archives, and local theaters. Prior experience includes various roles at Hull City Council, where responsibilities included managing cultural services and operations across multiple public facilities, as well as earlier positions at B & Q and Tesco. Simon holds a BSc in Biochemistry & Industrial Studies from the University of Liverpool.
