Rob Hewson's work experience began in 1996 with a summer placement at 21st Century Entertainment Ltd, where they wrote reports on videogame demos and performed customer service and administrative tasks. In 1997, they worked part-time as a QA Tester at Online PLC. In 2004, they worked as a Web Developer/Programmer at HS Technologies Ltd and Chateau Productions Ltd, where they also served as Creative Director, producing and directing short films. In 2005, they worked as a Web Developer/Programmer at Webmaint and Senior Creative Designer at Dark Energy Digital Ltd, where they gained experience in concept creation, pitching projects, and PR. From 2005 to 2008, they were a Lead Designer/Senior Designer at Blade Interactive Ltd, collaborating with publishers on the World Snooker Championship series. In 2012, they became a Technology Columnist (Freelance) for Future Publishing, contributing articles on technology and social media. Also in 2012, they started working at TT Games Ltd as a Game Director/Lead Designer until 2016. Currently, they are the CEO & Creative Director at Huey Games Ltd, a game development and console porting company.
Rob Hewson attended The University of Manchester from 2000 to 2003, where they earned a BSc with Honours in Computing Science. Prior to that, they attended St. Birinus School, although specific dates and details about their education at this institution are not provided.
