E. Leslie Polott has been the Executive Director at Hudson Library since January 1996. Prior to that, they were the Community Library Director at San Diego County Library from January 1988 to December 1995. From January 1984 to December 1988, they were an Adjunct/ Assistant Professor at The University of Texas School of Law/The University of Texas at Austin, where they were also the Head of Foreign Law and Head of Research. From January 1983 to December 1984, they were a Legislative Research Assistant at the New York State Assembly.

E. Leslie Polott has a B.A., magna cum laude, in Theirtory from Union College. E. has a J.D. in Law from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. E. has an MLS in Information /Archival Studies from University at Albany, SUNY.
