Tyra Mariani is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in various roles across nonprofit and educational sectors. Currently serving as a Board Trustee for Fidelity Charitable® and a Board Member at Jobs for the Future, Tyra has also founded and leads UP Advisors, LLC. Previously, Tyra held significant positions, including President of the Schultz Family Foundation and President & COO at New America. Additional leadership roles include Chief of Staff at the U.S. Department of Education and Executive Director at New Leaders for New Schools. Tyra's educational background includes an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a BBA in Marketing from Howard University, where Tyra also served as a Board Trustee.
