Marc-André B. is an experienced mining professional currently serving as the Director of Global Exploration & Mineral Resource at Hudbay Minerals Inc. since March 2015, with responsibilities including oversight of MRMR statements, exploration project prioritization, and expenditure monitoring for Board of Directors and external reporting. Previously, Marc-André held various roles at Hudbay, such as Director of Mineral Resource Evaluation & Mine Geology and Manager of Project Evaluation. Prior to Hudbay, Marc-André worked at Glencore as a Senior Mine Geologist, managing a team and restructuring geological processes. Additional experience includes work as a Resource Geologist at Met-Chem Canada and an Ore Control Geologist at Freeport McMoran. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Earth Science and Bachelor's degree in Geology from UQAM, along with recent certifications in Lean Six Sigma from the University of Toronto.
