Greg Wolbeck is a seasoned professional in the mining industry with extensive experience in various operational and managerial roles. Currently serving as Mine Operations Manager at Hudbay Minerals Inc. since July 2023, Greg has previously held similar positions at Copper Mountain Mining Corp. and has contributed to Taseko's Gibraltar Mine in several capacities, including Superintendent of Mine Operations and Mine Engineering. Earlier roles include Engineering Manager at Westmoreland Coal Company and Mine Engineer at Prairie Mines & Royalty. Greg began the career as a Field Engineer at Praetorian Construction Management. Greg Wolbeck holds a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from the University of Alberta, obtained between 2003 and 2007.
