Ignacio Vera Baena is a seasoned project management professional with extensive experience in engineering and wastewater treatment projects. Currently serving as Project Manager for Latam & Caribbean at Huber since September 2022, Ignacio previously held the position of Project Coordinator at Marel, focusing on installation coordination for equipment. Prior experience includes roles at BioFiltro as Engineering Coordinator and Project Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed the design and management of wastewater treatment projects across multiple countries, as well as drafting technical documentation and environmental impact reports. Ignacio's career began with a research internship at Depuración de Aguas del Mediterráneo, S.L., and included work as a Road Safety Technician at ViarioA31. Ignacio holds several degrees, including a Project Management Postgraduate from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and an MSc in Sustainable Management and Water Technologies from Universitat d'Alacant, alongside qualifications in civil engineering and hydrology.
