Shawn Barnes, MBA, is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in both domestic and international accounting roles. Currently serving as a Senior Accountant at Hubbell Incorporated since January 2017, Shawn is responsible for managing accounts payable payments, vendor maintenance, sales tax reporting, payroll entries, and balance sheet reconciliations, as well as assisting in corporate transitions and the implementation of SOX controls. Prior to this role, Shawn held positions at Boeing as both an International Accountant and Accountant, focusing on process improvements, compliance, and team leadership. Shawn's career began as a Staff Accountant at The Children's Factory and included an internship at Wade Stables P.C. Shawn holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business Administration from Missouri Baptist University, along with an Associate of Science from Moberly Area Community College.
