Markus Jung is a Java developer at VIVAVIS since February 2023, with prior experience as a scientific employee and doctoral candidate at the Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT) from June 2015 to May 2022, focusing on security and energy efficiency in IoT and the flexible networking of cyber-physical systems in Smart Factories and Industry 4.0. From June 2009 to January 2016, Markus worked as a hardware and software developer at cuviso GbR, where development of peripheral components for a 3D visualization system involved circuit and PCB design alongside firmware development using Atmel AVR and C. Before that, a role as a software developer at ProNES automation GmbH included the creation of a redundant application for remote monitoring and control of solar power plants in early 2008. Markus holds a Master of Science in Informatik and a Bachelor of Science in Informatik, both from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).
