Marnie Wu has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Marnie currently works as a Program Manager - Station Delivery at HTEC since 2022. Prior to this, they joined the Project Management Institute in 2019 as a PMP and Giving Back, completing their tenure in 2021.

Marnie'slongest tenure was with BP, where they held various managerial positions. From 2014 to 2018, they served as a Performance Manager - Global Engineering, Operations, and Major Projects. During this time, they led the Agility Workstream as part of the Modernization and Transformation program and managed a team of engineers and finance professionals.

From 2012 to 2014, Marnie Wu was the Performance and Capability Manager - Canada Wells at BP. In this role, they led a team responsible for managing the performance of the Canada Wells team and overseeing their capability.

Prior to these roles, they were a Project Manager - Operations Management and Activity Planning from 2009 to 2012, overseeing the implementation of new management systems for Canada at BP.

Before joining BP, Marnie Wu had drilling engineering and superintendent roles at bp from 2004 to 2008. Alberta was the primary location where they oversaw drilling operations for 30 vertical and horizontal wells per season. Additionally, they worked as a Challenge Engineer (rotating disciplines) from 2002 to 2004.

Throughout their career, Marnie Wu has demonstrated exceptional performance and received accolades such as "Exceeds Expectations" on annual reviews.

Marnie Wu holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Honors Chemistry from The University of British Columbia. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have obtained various certifications throughout their career. These include Scrum Fundamentals Certified (SFC) from Scrum Inc. in February 2018, Diversity and Inclusion certification from BP in 2016, Senior Level Leader certification from BP in 2015, Hoffman Leadership Path from Hoffman Institute Foundation in 2012, Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management Essentials from Primavera Software in 2012, Mission Control certification from BP in 2010, Leadership Coaching from JMW Consultants in 2009, Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in October 2019, and Incident Command I-100 I-200 from ICS Canada in February 2010.
