Chris Shannon is an experienced professional in the fields of data science, software development, and predictive modeling. As an Adjunct Professor at Maryville University Online since October 2018, Chris teaches predictive modeling. Previous experience includes a role as a Senior Consultant at Tata Consultancy Services, where Chris served as a Data Scientist on-site at Citibank’s Fintech Innovation Labs, educating personnel on Artificial Intelligence and vetting data sources for new Fintech services. Chris has also held positions at USAA as a Software Developer specializing in Big Data, and at The Exchange as a Senior Programmer/Analyst. Early career experience includes software engineering roles at POD Associates, Respec, Navimedix, and Advertising.com. Chris holds a Master’s Degree in Statistics from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Statistics from The University of New Mexico.
