Josh Mackie is a seasoned technology strategist and architect with extensive experience in the banking and financial services sector. Currently serving as Principal Architect at HSBC since October 2019, Josh is responsible for technology strategy and architecture across multiple domains, including Onboarding & KYC and Payments. Previously, at Nationwide Building Society from July 2016 to October 2019, Josh held several roles, including Senior Enterprise Architect, where efforts led to the launch of a digital-first commercial bank. Earlier experience includes positions at Network Rail and GSK, where Josh focused on leading architectural initiatives and providing solutions that encompass cloud technologies, Open Banking, and application support. Josh holds a BSc (Hons) in Computing and Information Technology from the University of Surrey.
