Patrick Flynn has over two decades of experience in senior operational roles within the banking and finance sector. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer UK at HSBC Innovation Banking since April 2020, Patrick is responsible for executing the EMEA strategy across multiple operational domains. Prior to this, Patrick held the position of UK Chief Operating Officer at Santander Corporate & Investment Banking, overseeing governance, operational risk, and client management services. Previous roles include COO of Global Finance Risk Solutions at Barclays Capital, Chief Admin Officer for Nomura and Lehman Brothers, and Business Development Associate at Perot Systems. Patrick's career began as an Army Officer in the British Army, complemented by an MBA from Cranfield School of Management and a BEng in Electronic Systems Engineering from Cranfield University.
