Michael White is currently the Market Manager and Head of Life Sciences at HSBC Innovation Banking, a position held since June 2023. Prior to this role, Michael spent over two decades at Silicon Valley Bank, where key positions included Market Manager for Life Science & Healthcare in EMEA and various leadership roles overseeing business development and investor coverage in the Southwest and West Coast regions. Michael co-managed the San Diego office and played a pivotal role in building a substantial life science credit portfolio. Earlier experience includes roles at GE Capital and Oracle, with educational qualifications including a Bachelor's degree from the University of Arizona and graduate-level courses in corporate finance and management from UC Berkeley Extension.
