Gerard Geneen possesses extensive experience in compliance, having held multiple leadership roles within renowned organizations. Currently serving as the Head of Compliance at Healthcare Research Worldwide since January 2021, Gerard previously worked at Smith+Nephew from October 2013 to September 2020, where roles included Compliance Officer for Privacy and R&D, as well as for the Wound Management Division. Gerard's career also spans significant positions at GlaxoSmithKline, including VP and Compliance Officer for Pharmaceuticals Europe. Gerard's educational background includes a MA in History from the University of Cambridge, a Chartered Accountant designation from ICAEW, and certifications in privacy and information security from the International Association of Privacy Professionals and the Association of Corporate Treasurers.
