Adam Holmes has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles.
In 2009, they cofounded Giving Hands Inc 501(c)(3) and served as a cofounder until 2011.
In 2011, they worked as a Case Analyst at Cornell Consulting Club for a brief period of time.
From 2012 to 2015, Adam worked at Cornell University as a Research Assistant and Graduate Laboratory Developer.
During the same period, they also served as a Sector Analyst and Research Analyst at the Mutual Investment Club of Cornell.
In 2014, Adam joined UC Santa Barbara as a Research Assistant, a role they held until 2016.
From 2016 to 2019, they pursued a doctoral degree at the University of Chicago.
In 2017, Adam interned as a Quantum Systems Architect at Intel Labs for three months.
In 2019, they joined Intel Labs as a Research Scientist and was involved in research work until 2020.
Lastly, since October 2020, Adam has been working at HRL Laboratories, LLC as a Quantum Information Scientist.
Adam Holmes completed their Bachelor's degree in Physics from Cornell University in the years 2012 to 2016. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science at the University of Chicago from 2016 to 2020. Prior to their undergraduate studies, Adam attended Los Gatos High School from 2011 to 2012, although they did not receive any specific degree or study field during this time.
