Sia Pourzeynali has a diverse work experience, starting with a role as a Sponsorship Coordinator at Iran University of Science and Technology in 2014. In 2015, they worked as an Engineering Intern at Meelan's Plastic Industry and also completed an internship at Oxin Energy. In 2016, Sia returned to Iran University of Science and Technology as a Teaching Assistant. They then joined Best Buy as a Sales Specialist in 2017 before transitioning to Queen's University, where they worked as a Research Assistant from 2017 to 2019. During this time, Sia also held several positions as a Teaching Assistant, where they worked closely with students to enhance their academic performance. In 2019, Sia joined Photos Unlimited as a Sales Specialist. In 2020, they became a Technical Lead at JANA Corporation. In 2021, Sia joined Covalence Consulting Inc. as an Implementation Consultant. Currently, Sia is working at HRchitect, first as an Implementation Consultant and then as an Implementation Manager starting in 2023.

Sia Pourzeynali completed a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from Queen's University from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology, completing it from 2012 to 2016.

In terms of additional certifications, Sia obtained the following certifications: UKG Pro Business Intelligence Certified Consultant from UKG in August 2022, UKG Pro Core/ HR Payroll Certified Consultant from UKG in October 2021, Data Analyst with SQL Server Track from DataCamp in November 2020, Querying Microsoft SQL Server 2019 from LinkedIn in August 2020, Excel 2016: Advanced Formulas and Functions from LinkedIn in July 2020, Excel: PivotTables in Depth from LinkedIn in July 2020, Excel Essential Training (Office 365) from LinkedIn in April 2020, and WHMIS from Health Canada | Santé Canada in August 2017.
