Mick Barnard has extensive experience in recruitment and human resources, currently serving as Teamleader Recruitment and Adviseur Werving en Selectie at HR Rail since February 2012. Responsibilities include overseeing an efficient selection process, conducting CV screenings, organizing psychotechnical tests, facilitating interviews, coordinating HR projects, and providing training across various professional categories. Prior to this role, Mick worked as an Advanced Permanent Placement Consultant at ManpowerGroup from October 2008 to February 2012, focusing on the recruitment of logistics and technical staff in the Mechelen - Leuven region. Earlier career experience includes a position as a Junior Permanent Placement Consultant and an internship at OCMW Gent in the selection and examination department. Mick Barnard holds a Master’s degree in Work and Organizational Psychology from KU Leuven and has also studied at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna.
