Erich Volkman has over 20 years of experience in technology management and infrastructure operations. Currently serving as the Director of Technology at H&R Block since October 2007, Erich oversees IT Infrastructure Engineering and Operations, including systems support, voice and data networks, as well as data center operations. Prior roles include Director of Global Infrastructure Operations & Engineering at Swiss Re, Global Computing Systems Leader at GE Insurance Solutions, and Network Manager at multiple organizations, including Hoechst, Aventis Pharmaceutical, and Marion Merrill Dow. Erich holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Kansas State University, obtained in 1985.
