Jerin Benny began their work experience in 2019 as a Summer Intern at Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. JERIN then took on an internship role at The Kerala Minerals & Metals Limited from February to April 2020. In August 2020, Jerin joined BSCC INFRASTRUCTURE PRIVATE LIMITED as a Petroleum Engineer until November 2021. Currently, they are working as an Operations Engineer at Helmerich and Payne, starting in November 2021.

Jerin Benny completed a Bachelor of Technology degree in Petroleum Engineering from Vignan's University, which took place from 2016 to 2020. In addition, they obtained several certifications, including "The python Programming A-Z definitive diploma" from Udemy in March 2021, a "jobberman soft skill training certificate" from Jobberman Nigeria in March 2021, an "introduction to drill" certificate from LearnToDrill in February 2021, an "introduction to well service" certificate from LearnToDrill in February 2021, and a "level one program" certificate from the International Well Control Forum in January 2021.
