Michelle Tran has extensive experience in food safety, quality assurance, and product development. Currently serving as Director of Food Safety & Quality Technical Services at HP Hood LLC since May 2017, previous roles at the company include Sr. Quality Assurance Technical Services Manager and Senior Scientist. Michelle's academic background includes a Master of Science in Food Science from Penn State University, focusing on dairy processing, and a Bachelor of Science in Food Science from the University of Manitoba, along with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from The University of Winnipeg. Prior to HP Hood, experience includes roles as a Product Development Consultant and Nutritional Labelling Specialist at the Food Development Centre and Assistant Analyst in Food Safety and Policy Research at Manitoba Agriculture, Food, and Rural Initiatives.
