Michiel de Baat is a seasoned Patent Attorney with a specialization in European, Dutch, and Belgian patent law. Since February 2013, Michiel has been with HOYNG ROKH MONEGIER. Prior experience includes a role as European Patent Attorney at Arnold & Siedsma from January 2001 to January 2007 and again from April 2010 to January 2013, where Michiel established the Eindhoven office and advised mid-sized regional clients. Michiel also served as an Associate Partner at Nederlandsch Octrooibureau from September 2007 to March 2010, focusing on mechanical engineering inventions. Michiel holds dual Master's degrees in Intellectual Property Law and Physics from Leiden University, complemented by studies at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
