Clement Wan, MBA, MSc, PMP, DFSS-Black Belt, is a highly experienced project director with a strong background in product development and program management. Currently serving at HOYA Surgical Optics since December 2015, Clement has successfully led teams to achieve the CE Mark for three new products between 2018 and 2021, introducing innovative surgical technologies that enhance implantation techniques for intraocular lenses. Previously, as R&D Program Manager at PerkinElmer, Clement managed the development of two significant products, achieving commercial success with a combined net present value of over US$7 million. With extensive experience at BD as an R&D Staff Engineer, Clement has launched numerous medical products, including award-winning innovations, and has effectively led diverse teams in various regions. Educational credentials include an MBA in General Management from Nanyang Technological University, alongside advanced degrees in Materials Science and Engineering from the National University of Singapore.
