Jason Meyer has extensive experience in metallurgical processes and engineering, currently serving as Planning & Process Engineering Manager and Lead Process Metallurgist at Howmet Aerospace since September 2018. In this role, Jason is responsible for the development and improvement of manufacturing processes for seamless rolled rings and open-die forgings, collaborating with engineers and operations to enhance cost-efficiency and implement shop floor instructions. Previously, Jason worked as an IGT Process Engineer at Arconic Engines, focusing on metallurgical quality for various aerospace components, and held roles as a Research and Development Intern at Encore Wire Corp and a Continuous Improvement Engineer Intern at United Copper Industries, contributing to productivity improvements and material efficiency. Jason holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of North Texas.
