Amber Haywood has a diverse and extensive work experience. Amber is currently the Director of Development for the Schools of Divinity, Education, and Social Work at Howard University, a position they started in November 2022. Prior to this, Amber served as the Chief Executive Officer of Fundraise Inc. starting in April 2020. Amber also worked as a Senior Development & Grant Associate at Raheem from January to September 2022.

Additionally, from 2009 to 2015, they completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in African-American/Black Studies, also from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
