Drew Mckone is the SVP & Director of Branch Distribution at Howard Bank. Drew has over 19 years of experience in the banking industry, holding various positions such as Chief of Staff, District Manager, and Area Sales Manager.

Mckone began their career at Allfirst Bank in 2000 as an Area Sales Manager. In 2003, they left Allfirst Bank to join Capital One as a District Manager. Drew was responsible for leading 13-18 retail branches in Baltimore and Howard County. In 2013, they opened four de novo CRA branches in Baltimore and influenced the de novo branch opening process. Drew also piloted the "Bank More Ways" program designed to increase the sustained use of digital channels.

In 2015, Mckone left Capital One to join the Maryland Department of Human Resources as the Chief of Staff. Drew held this position for a year before joining 1st Mariner Bank as the Director of Retail Banking in 2016. As the Director of Retail Banking, their responsibilities included all aspects of retail banking including the development and execution of a strategic plan to achieve retail growth, profitability, operational efficiencies and superior customer service.

Mckone joined Howard Bank in 2019 as the SVP & Director of Branch Distribution. In this role, they are responsible for leading the bank's branch distribution strategy and executing on plans to grow market share and expand Howard Bank's footprint across its seven-state footprint.

Drew Mckone has an Executive Master's in Leadership from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business, a Certificate Program in Bank Management from the Consumer Bankers Association Executive Banking School, and a B.A. in Theirtory and Psychology from the Virginia Military Institute.
