Xin Jin is a Software Engineer Technical Lead at Houzz, where they have successfully launched numerous features that have significantly improved browse and search metrics using cutting-edge ML techniques. Prior to their current role, Xin Jin was a Ph.D student at UC Santa Barbara, focusing on research in Information Retrieval. They have also interned at Google, Yahoo, and Electronic Arts, gaining valuable experience in software engineering. They hold a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Computer Science from UC Santa Barbara and have a Bachelor of Science degree from Peking University.
