Waldemar van der Veen is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate and commercial litigation, currently serving as Counsel at Houthoff since September 2009. Previously, Waldemar held the position of Junior Lecturer in Political Science at the Universiteit van Amsterdam and worked as a Support Lawyer at Baker & McKenzie. Academic credentials include an LL.B and LL.M (cum laude and honours) from the University of Amsterdam, where Waldemar also earned an MSc in Political Science and an MA in Philosophy. Additional education includes a certificate with honours from Law Firm School and a brief stint at New York University.
