Mark Hughes has over two decades of experience in prominent orchestras, currently serving as the Principal Trumpet for the Houston Symphony since August 2006. Prior to this role, Mark held the position of Associate Principal Trumpet with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra from August 1994 to August 2006. Mark Hughes earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Trumpet Performance from Northwestern University, where studies took place from 1979 to 1983.
