Michael Domitrovich has a strong background in urban and community planning. Michael currently serves as the Urban and Community Planning Services Director at Houston Engineering, Inc. where they are responsible for providing consulting services to clients in both the public and private sectors. Prior to joining Houston Engineering, they worked as the Director of Urban & Community Planning at LJA: Architects, Engineers, Planners, Surveyors, where they focused on promoting planning services and collaborating with architects and engineers. Michael also founded and served as President of City View - The Art of Creative Land Planning, a planning consulting company that specialized in creating unique concepts for land planning issues. In addition, Michael has held executive positions at Cityscapes Development and Lexus Development Corporation, overseeing land purchases and project development. Michael began their career in the public sector as a City Planner for the City of Fargo, where they worked closely with the Planning Commission and City Commission on implementing master plans and designing various projects.
Michael Domitrovich earned an Associate's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Delaware County Community College in 1972. Michael then went on to North Dakota State University, where they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Studies in 1975. Continuing their education at North Dakota State University, Michael attained a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) degree in Urban Development in 1976.
