Alton DuLaney serves as the Curator of Public Art and Director of the Cultural Arts Program for the Houston Airport System since June 2019, managing the public art collection and exhibitions across Hobby Airport and Bush Intercontinental Airport, which collectively serve around 60 million passengers annually. Educational qualifications include a Master of Fine Arts in Interdisciplinary Art from the University of Houston, and dual Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees, one in Visual and Performance Art and another in Fine/Studio Arts from The University of Texas at Austin. Additional educational experiences include studies at the Fashion Institute of Technology and Instituto de Bellas Artes in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.
