Ryan Okelberry

Co-Founder/Board of Directors at House of Design Robotics

Ryan Okelberry has a diverse work experience in engineering and design roles. Ryan co-founded House of Design Robotics in 2012 and currently serves on the board of directors. Ryan has also held roles as Principal and Chief Operations Officer at House of Design Robotics, where they focused on implementing flexible automation solutions. Prior to that, they worked as an Owner, Entrepreneur, and Senior Mechanical Engineer at the same company. Ryan has experience in designing consumer electronic products in the outdoor sporting industry as a Mechanical Engineer and Industrial Designer at Liquid Logic. Ryan also served as an Adjunct Faculty at Boise State University, teaching engineering graphics and communications. In addition, Ryan worked as an R&D Automation Engineer at Transform Solar, where they designed manufacturing equipment for SLIVER photovoltaic technology. Ryan has also worked as a Contract SolidWorks Integrator at Vintage MV and a Contracted Mechanical Design Engineer at Prairie West, LLC. Before that, Ryan worked at Weyerhaeuser as a Design Engineer, where they designed manufacturing equipment for engineered lumber processes, and as a Mechanical Drafter, where they performed drafting and design tasks. Ryan also served as an Instructor at the College of Western Idaho. Overall, Ryan's work experience spans various industries and roles, showcasing their expertise in engineering, design, and robotics.

Ryan Okelberry obtained an Associate's Degree in Computer Aided Drafting from ITT Technical Institute-Boise in 1995-1996. Ryan then went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Boise State University from 1999-2005.

In addition to their formal education, Ryan holds certifications as a Certified SolidWorks Professional (CSWP) from SolidWorks-CADCAMCIM Inc. and as a Professional Engineer from the State of Idaho. The specific months and years in which they obtained these certifications are unknown.
