Vishali Mogallapu has a long history of work experience. Vishali began their career in 2006 as an Image Processing Intern at Tengion. In 2007, they joined Canesta as a Software Engineer, Algorithms and Calibration Development. During their time at Canesta, they worked on various projects from demos to developing computer vision algorithms for a consumer touchscreen prototype. Vishali also worked on bringing up prototypes from Bring Up through Characterization of their performance on the final applications, as well as developing Computer vision and machine algorithm algorithms and bringing up calibration and characterization flow on the factory line for one of the consumer products. In 2010, Vishali joined Microsoft as a Director Of Engineering, Sr. SDE Lead | HoloLens 2 | Azure Kinect | Kinect for XBOX ONE, and Systems / Software Development Engineer | Xbox | Kinect | HoloLens. In 2021, they became a Student at The Ayurvedic Institute, and in 2022, they began working as an Engineering Consultant at Hoth Intelligence.
Vishali Mogallapu received their BTech in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in 2005. Vishali then went on to pursue their MS in EECS at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, graduating in 2007. In 2015, they began taking courses at Harvard Extension School, but is not focusing on a degree just yet. In October 2022, they will receive their NAMA Professional Ayurvedic Health Counselor certification from the National Ayurvedic Medical Association. Vishali also participated in the Microsoft Hackathon 2020 in June 2020.
