Kyle Blasco has held a variety of roles in the marketing and content development industry since 2012. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Freelance Copywriter for WALLiT Web Marketing and Development, a Freelance Technical Writer for Dr. Sondheimer, MD, a Freelance Copywriter/Social Media Strategist for Ipsos, a Copywriting Associate for RedShelf, and a Freelance Content Writer/Editor for Taskworld. In 2014, they were a Content Developer (Project) for Cognitive Arts, a Content Strategist/Copywriting Associate for MakerSquare, and a Content Lead for AdLift Inc. Since 2018, they have been the Director of Organic Search & Content and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for HotelsByDay. In these roles, they have managed paid advertising, SEO, editorial duties, email marketing, and social media, collaborated with the CEO and CTO, analyzed sites for user experience improvements and technical fixes, hired and managed a team of writers, managed client communications, created and managed SEO-focused content strategies, interviewed students and staff, maintained social accounts, wrote outlines and scripted dialogue-based scenarios, built interactive eLearning training modules, researched and developed strategies for blog content, wrote long-form blog posts, and proofread and polished various deliverables.
Kyle Blasco completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Journalism and Creative Writing from Western Michigan University in 2011. Prior to that, they attended Bartlett High School from 2003 to 2007.
