James O'Connell-Cooper serves as the Chief Marketing Officer and SVP, Head of Marketing and Brand at CARET since November 2022, where the focus is on providing technology and automation solutions for legal and accounting firms. Prior to this role, James co-founded Similar but Better and held various positions at Xero from April 2013 to March 2022, culminating in a role as Director of Marketing for the Americas. Additional experience includes serving as Marketing & Sales Manager at Mojo Coffee and Producer at Project Born (The Neonatal Trust NZ). James began a career in hospitality with Millennium & Copthorne Hotels as Food & Beverage Operations Manager from 2004 to 2008, overseeing operations across several locations.
