Heather Perry has a diverse work experience in various creative roles. Heather started their career as a Photographer at Flash! Digital Portraits, where they captured clients' photos and retouched them. Heather then worked as a Graphic Designer at Rock Communications, designing printed materials and ensuring client satisfaction. Heather then joined the Des Moines Register as a Photographer, photographing events and conducting on-the-spot interviews. Heather later joined Gannett as an Image Specialist, preparing photographs and advertisements for print. At TheHomeMag, Heather worked as a Graphic Designer, creating advertising designs for clients and managing revisions. Heather then became a Lead Designer at Punch Studio, where they illustrated artwork, designed product collections, and applied designs to digital mock-ups. Currently, Heather is working as a Textile Designer for Accessories at Hot Topic. Additionally, they have their own business, Drunk Girl Designs, where they collaborate with brands and galleries, sells original pieces and prints on Etsy and their website, and creates custom pieces for events.
Heather Perry attended Des Moines Area Community College from 2002 to 2004, where they earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Commercial and Advertising Art.
